Telematics Insurance - App
I designed a telematics insurance app which is detecting driving behaviour during my internship. I also did some research to find the function that needs to include on the application.
This app contains two sets of interfaces including commercial owners and private & commercial drivers. To assist with this app, a sensor installed in the car will be sent and save the data collected on the app. The driver can check and improve their driving behaviour. The owner can have stats to review the driver and decide to increase or remind the renting fee of the car.

Telematics Insurance - Website
This is a website to introduce Explainable AI, one of the projects is telematics insurance technology. The website includes the features, benefits, and application of Explainable AI. I designed a responsive website which allows desktops, tablets and mobile to visit the website without cropping the content. After designing the website's interface, I used Questi AI to export the Figma design to a website with HTML and CSS code. Visitors can use the link to visit the website.

From 1st hand and 2nd hand research, we found out that the textile waste problem is serious, Hongkongers generate 392 tonnes per day, and over 94% can be recycled or reused, but only 0.4% was recycled or reused. Also, people shopping attitude is non-sustainable and rarely puts sustainability as the deciding factor. Therefore we designed an educational board game to deliver sustainable knowledge. One of the game features is a scenario card which allows people to make decisions and reflect the sustainability level by receiving positive or negative results.

After the playtest, our target audiences (secondary students) are not able to read all the English and need to translate. Besides, the scenario needs to update every month which can give players new situations and choices. So, we decided to put the scenario card in the app.

Travel Frog
Hong Kong attracts many foreigners who travel around this city, but some special places may be ignored including natural attractions, unique cuisine, and local culture. So, our group designed a mobile application that enables users to enjoy guided, interesting and meaningful tourism experiences. Also, our app allows users to accomplish various goals in a gamification way.

LUNCHBOX CANVAS
Nowadays, most people are busy at work and usually order food on delivery platforms as their lunch or even dinner. The food is usually not healthy since it contains fewer vegetables and high calories, so this eating behaviour is not healthy and may cause some health diseases.
Therefore, our group designed a colouring mini-game to motivate people to eat healthier. Users need to take a photo of their lunch or dinner, and the app will be based on the photo to calculate the calories. Also, the food colour will be the colour that the user applies to the canvas. So, the healthier you eat, the more colourful your paints are. Otherwise, if you ingest too many calories, your canvas will be locked and you can't paint for one day.

Karaoke app
Under the covid-19 situation, the social distancing policy and group gathering are banned by the government, and only 2 people gathering is allowed. Also, public entertainment including beauty parlours and the closure of karaoke establishments & suspension of karaoke activities, so, may become the new normal.

Then, we designed a karaoke smart tv app that provides an immersive karaoke experience and a telepathy game at home. Also, users may get some AR filter rewards that can be used during the photo-taking session.

Simple test - 慢活
This is a project to help a company promote Kaohsiung culture. After our group did the research, we found out that Kaohsiung is a place that promotes a green lifestyle and downshifting. We design some events that can be held in the warehouse. We aim to raise people’s awareness of the importance of slowly tasting food, respecting the farmer, and developing a sustainable and healthy eating habit. Through H SPACE's downshifting activities, visitors can experience and understand Kaohsiung's downshifting culture. The video shows the interface of a short quiz on the tablet.

Toy Kingdom
This is a project to design a wireframe for a toy or game web page. The logo of this page is simple. But instead of a word, I changed the "O" to a toy, so when people look at the logo they will know what is the website trying to sell.

Inside the website, I try to use fewer words and make use of images to indicate the information which can be an attractive point for users to keep using or visiting the website.

The website put the sale poster on top to raise people's interest to keep exploring other toys. Also, it includes information such as new arrivals toys, top 10 of that toy and reviews of the toy.

WhatSticker

This is a group assignment for the User Interface course. We have to find the interface problem of the app that we chose called "WhatSticker" and redesign the interface.
The first problem is about control mismatch. The label called popularity"人氣" is like a button since the oval shape is the same as the tab menu. Users will be confused and they will try to tab on it, so we changed it to the red text next to the title. The new design will reduce user confusion and simplify the interface.

The second problem is the ocean of buttons. Each page contains numerous buttons including the style of the stickers, new, hot, create stickers and pinned stickers. The style of stickers button at the top is repeating which is already placed inside the side drawer menu. So we decided to remove it from the side drawer menu and create a menu bar at the bottom of the application.

The third one is a mental model mismatched because the icon of the side drawer is on the right but the list menu of the side drawer pop-up on the left, so we moved the side drawer icon to the left to match the user behaviour and improve the user experience.
